Instructor Declaration
By using Studio Connect as an instructor, you confirm that:
1. Your information is accurate. Everything on your profile — your name,
qualifications, teaching experience, specialisms, location and availability — is true
and up to date, and you will keep it that way.
2. Your qualifications are genuine. Every qualification you list has actually been
awarded to you by the body stated. Any document you upload is a true copy of a genuine
document relating to you.
3. You maintain insurance where it is required. Where the work you accept requires
professional indemnity or public liability insurance, you hold it, it is valid and in
force, and you will maintain it for the duration of that work. You understand that
Studio Connect does not verify insurance and does not provide cover of any kind.
4. You are responsible for your own professional conduct. This includes your teaching,
your technique, client safety, safeguarding, and adherence to the standards of any
professional body you belong to.
5. You are responsible for your own status and obligations. Including your employment
or self-employed status, tax, National Insurance, and any licences or registrations
your work requires.
6. You contract directly with studios. Studio Connect does not employ or engage you,
does not pay you, and is not a party to any arrangement you make with a studio. Rates,
payment terms, cancellation terms and working arrangements are agreed between you and
the studio.
7. You will honour what you accept. If you agree to cover a class, you will attend, or
tell the studio as early as you reasonably can if you cannot.
8. You will use messaging only for genuine opportunities. You will not use the
platform to advertise, recruit, market, or contact studios about anything other than
the specific opportunity a conversation relates to.
You understand that Studio Connect does not guarantee that any opportunity is genuine, will
proceed, or will be paid, and that you are responsible for satisfying yourself about any
studio before agreeing to work with them.
