Community Rules
Studio Connect exists to fill genuine teaching opportunities. These rules are what keep it
useful rather than noisy.
Every conversation must relate to a real opportunity
There is no open messaging here, by design. A conversation can only start in one of two
ways:
- a studio invites an instructor to discuss a specific listed opportunity that the
instructor matches, or
- an instructor applies to a specific listed opportunity.
The platform will not let you message anyone outside that. This is enforced technically,
not just by policy.
What is not allowed
- Cold outreach, networking messages, or "just introducing myself"
- Using a conversation about one opportunity to discuss unrelated business
- Advertising courses, training, products, memberships, retreats or other platforms
- Posting an opportunity that does not exist, or reposting the same shift repeatedly to
stay at the top of results
- Misrepresenting your qualifications, experience or insurance
- Asking an instructor to work outside the terms described in the listing without saying so
- Harassment, discrimination, or pressure of any kind
- Sharing another user's details or content outside the platform
Reporting
Every profile, listing and message has a Report option. Reports go to our moderation
team. We may remove content, close listings, or suspend accounts.
What happens if you break the rules
Depending on severity: a warning, removal of content, loss of posting or messaging
ability, or account suspension. Serious cases — safeguarding concerns, fraud,
impersonation — result in immediate suspension and may be reported to the relevant
authority.
